MEDICATIONS

Sometimes you may need a little extra help staying healthy whilst overseas, the following medications and medication packs are available through our clinic for just this reason.

  • Gastro- Stop, medication for quick relief from diarrhoea, improvement typically occurs within 1-3 hours. 12 capsules per box.
  • Oral Rehydration Salts, sachets of pleasantly flavored drink to be used to assist in replacing electrolytes lost during diarrhoea, vomiting, heavy drinking, heavy sweating, etc.
  • Malarone (Adult & Child), a prophylactic medication to prevent malaria.
  • Doxycycline, an antibiotic medicaiton that can be used as a prophylactic medication to prevent malaria

Medication Packs

Pack 1
This pack is designed for people who are likely to experience mild diarrhoea whilst away and are unlikely to become ill on their travels.
Pack 2
This pack is designed for people who may experience mild-moderate diarrhoea and also contains medication for cramping and nausea.
Pack 3
This pack is designed for people who may experience mild-moderate diarrhoea and will also assist with relief from cramping and nausea. It has the same contains as pack 2 and also contains medications for general illness including chest and sinus infections, motion sickness, pain, inflammation and sore throats.
Corporate Pack
This pack is designed for people who may experience mild-moderate diarrhoea and will also assist with relief from cramping and nausea. It also contains medication for the treatment of general illness including chest and sinus infections, motion sickness, pain inflammation, allergic reactions, sore throats and a short active sedative.
